The Future of Tourism in Alexandria and the North Coast

ABA through tourism committee held great conference “The Future of Tourism in Alexandria and the North Coast” jointly hosted with the cooperation of the U.S. Consulate General Alexandria and the Alexandria Business Association under the sponsorship of USAID on Sunday, October 21st, 2012, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel in Alexandria with the presence of ABA chairman ,US Ambassador to Egypt and several government representatives.

The event is designed to identify investment opportunities and eliminate barriers to business development that will create jobs in Alexandria and the North Coast.
The conference will explore ways to improve traditional site tourism and expand options for conference centers, cruise line visits, marina development, and niche markets (green, religious, and health tourism). Industry experts, private business representatives, and government officials will also review the need for infrastructure upgrades, changes to regulations, training, touristic product development, and branding for Alexandria and the North Coast.

(2) Cruise Lines and Marina Development
(3) Tourism Services (Travel Agencies, Site Development)
