Within the framework of Alexandria Business Association – ABA cooperation with foreign entities, ABA organized an official meeting with the Australian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Neil Hawkins and ABA Chairman Eng. Mohamed Sabry among a number of board members and heads of committees to follow up with the most important developments of the projects and activities of ABA. In several previous official visits, ABA familiarized his good self with its activities, projects and its scope of work.
The meeting reviewed the most important developments of the SME projects and vocational training center VTEC and its role in organizing and upgrading the field of education and vocational training according to the needs of the labor market and its contribution to the positive image of professional work in Egypt and raising the efficiency of workers in this field. His Excellency agreed to provide his support to the VTEC Center through a joint agreement between the Embassy and ABA & VTEC to organize a number of grants directed to train youth and women of most need. They also discussed means of cooperation with Australia in the field of import and export and the possible means to encourage companies to re-establish communication and cooperation with the Egyptian market.
