Alexandria Business Association is organizing a conference on “Supporting Dual Technical Education and Labor Market Studies” organized by the German Development Agency (GIZ) on Tuesday under the auspices of the Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa
The conference’s aim is to enhance the participation of the private sector in training students of double education and training in order to develop their skills to achieve Egypt’s Vision in 2030
The results of the study of the Regional Observatory of Labor Market Studies in Alexandria for the food sector will be presented, in addition to a review of the German experience in the dual education and training system and its contribution to youth employment and the latest developments regarding dual education in Egypt and Alexandria in particular
Eng. Marwan El-Sammak, former chairman of Alexandria Business Association, who currently chairs the executive committee of the training center, said that the conference will discuss the system of dual education and training and the role of the regional observatory in Monitoring and meeting the needs of the labor market during a panel discussion of the conference’s activities, in light of the urgent need for qualified workers who are technically competent to contribute to economic development, which is at the top of the priorities of the Egyptian policy agenda
It is worth mentioning that the conference will be attended by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, the governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education ,Mr. Kawar Gutman and Lars Fischel are representatives of the German Development Agency, the head of the Food Industries Chamber of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the head of the Productivity Efficiency Department, and Eng. Mohamed Sabry, Chairman of the Alexandria Business Association, the CEO of the Association and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Center for Vocational Training and Employment in Gheit Al-Enab
