The Alexandria Business Association and Exxon Mobil Egypt will be celebrating the graduation and employment of 70 trainees on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Vocational Training and Employment Center of the Alexandria Businessmen Association in Gheit El Enab.
In the presence of a delegation from Exxon Mobil Egypt headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company in Egypt, and from the Association . Eng. Mohamed Sabry Chairman of the association , Eng. Marwan El Sammak the former chairman of the association and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the center , Dr, Mohamed Mehrem the Undersecretary of the Board of Directors and Mr. Adham Koraytem, Chief Executive of the Association.
The partnership, is through a grant from Exxon Mobil Egypt, aims to train and recruit job seekers in various industrial occupations by contributing to the support of the training and operational process at the Training and Employment Center in Gheit El Enab.
The grant was awarded in two phases. The first phase in 2018 included Contributing in the financial support for the training and employment of 50 job seekers 40 in welding workshops and 10 in auto mechanics in the center.
The second phase of the grant in 2019 included contributing in the support of training and employment of 20 job seekers 10 in the auto mechanics and 10 in ready made clothes.
The Vocational Training and Employment Center is one of the business units of the Alexandria Businessmen Association, which started in 2016 in Bashayer El-Kheir 1 area of Gheit El-Enab and it is a specialized center in the training of technical workers for the employment purpose.
