Alexandria Businessmen Association was part of The Second Annual EGYPT CSR Forum May 3rd & 4th 2016 as a cosponsor and supporter organized at the Nile Ritz Carlton.
This year the forum is held with the purpose of unifying the efforts of the private sector and civil society organizations that have a goal to achieve in a specific time, through creating a state of integration between corporate objectives, the government’s plans and the actual needs of the community development.
Dr. Ghada Waly (Minister of Solidarity) & Dr. Ahmed Zaky Badr (Minister of Local Development) gave opening speeches. Besides, The experiences of Some countries that stood up through its citizens Development such as Malaysia, India, China, Finland and Japan ambassadors were presented, in addition to, a number of civil society organizations such as UNESCO and the World Bank and UNDP – GIZ- ILO – UNIDO – British Council and a number of Egyptian and foreign experts along with local and international companies operating in Egypt.
The forum raised the importance of the participation of companies and the relevant authorities in achieving their strategy to have an impact development in the Egyptian society to reach sustainability.
